Holy Days of Obligation
Sunday is the foremost Holy Day in the Universal Church. (CCC 2177) All other Holy Days in the United States are Holy days of Obligation unless they fall on a Monday or a Saturday with the exception of Christmas and the Immaculate Conception, they are always obligatory no matter the day they fall.
